As an immediate response to the war in Ukraine, we offer our help to Ukrainian citizens coming to the Czech Republic in seeking a refuge with their pets. Through the project Seeking Refuge Together, we can help by providing financial aid to cover veterinary care, pet food and basic pet care needs.

Hand in hand with other members of VSF International, we promote a holistic approach, integrating human, animal and environmental health, and pursue humanitarian, development, scientific, educational and advocacy objectives.

After 10 years of rabies project in Kenya, the scope of our international activities broadened, with newly launched projects in Somaliland (Hargeisa and Debbis) as an arising flagship of our involvement in East Africa.

In the Czech Republic, we assist elderly people in need to access urgent veterinary care for their dogs/cats (project Aging together) and homeless people with compulsory vaccinations for their dogs (every year at the occasion of the World Rabies Day).

We raise funds especially during Vaccinate for Africa campaign. Czech veterinary practices and clinics donate part of their profit from vaccinations performed during the campaign week (this year 27.9. – 1.10.2021), as they also receive printed materials explaining the clients the goal of the campaign.

We welcome donors, volunteers, professionals and companies to join our effort to bring veterinary care where it is needed the most.
